My first Lyric book

My Artistic Journey as a Bilingual Lyricist"

My passion for writing lyrics has always been at the heart of who I am a deep love for weaving words that dance with melodies. This passion evolved into my true calling: crafting original lyrics and thoughtful translations as a bilingual English/German writer, with a special joy in shaping words into melodies that create vivid pictures in the mind and capture emotional essence. My dedication shines in collaborations like Rudy Giovannini's acclaimed Viva Strauss album, where I blend timeless classical vibes with fresh, poetic, and heartfelt contemporary spirit.

Bilingual Lyrics

My journey is far from over… more beautiful chapters are yet to unfold.

Come back soon for the next updates! ♡

For as long as I can remember, I’ve carried a quiet lifelong dream: someday to hear one of my songs on a CD performed by a well-known artist. It felt like a distant star, beautiful, but far out of reach. So, I started to research into the music industry and managed to establish a few useful contacts.

About a year later, I discovered and applied for a wonderful project: translating English songs into German for a new album. I sent in my application, quietly hoping for a chance to contribute..

My First Big Chance: Viva Strauss with Rudy Giovannini

Then came the message that meant so much. Michael Leahy, the project leader, trusted me with my first assignment, just one song to begin with. It felt like a gentle invitation: “Show us your voice.” I poured everything into that translation, making sure every line kept its heart while singing naturally in German.

When the project was complete, something magical happened: four of my adaptations were chosen for the final album, the Viva Strauss CD by the Strato Vani orchestra, beautifully performed by the incomparable Rudy Giovannini. Four songs, from one careful beginning to four shining tracks on a professional release.

That experience marked a turning point for me as a bilingual lyricist. It gave me the confidence to step forward professionally and showed me firsthand how powerful genuine collaboration can be.

I’m forever grateful to Michael Leahy for giving me that first opportunity.

That first success with the Viva Strauss album kick-started my professional journey as a bilingual lyricist. I went on to complete formal studies in lyric writing at the prestigious Berklee College of Music and attended inspiring seminars, including Duncan Lorien’s “Understanding of Music.” I collaborated with as many talented composers, producers, and artists as possible, always learning and growing.

Today, I have dozens of songs published and officially registered with AKM, the Austrian performing rights society. And in April 2026, one of those songs — the uplifting anthem Lachen sollte jedes Herz — will shine in the grand finale of the renowned Stauferkrone competition.

My original dream of having just one song published by a known artist has not only come true — it has been exceeded many times over. Many more success stories are still unfolding, and I’m excited for every new chapter ahead. ♡

Mit Liebe und Lyrics,
